I enjoyed the build piece by piece. but, I do have some suggestions that will help keep the engine from leaking and possibly having a catastrophic failure. Any screws and or bolts that are on a rotating assembly, unless it specifically says do not use thread lock, I would use the weakest form of it. The damage that a small piece of metal bouncing around inside a 7k+ rpm motor could be severe. Same for any bolt, nut or screw that is in the same area due to vibrations that could cause them to loosen and fall out. Really any threaded component unless specifically warned against using thread lock, use it. I was big time into RC vehicles at one point. I learned the hard way about not using thread lock. Screws and bolts that you would have thought there was no way they would back out, did, sometimes to impressive wrecks lol. 3:45 Get a small piece of brass sheet and put that between the needle nose pliers and the crank shaft so you don't possibly cause marring on the surface. 6:55 The machined surface on the oil pan from what I can tell goes up against the outer casing of the rear main bearing. You should put a bit of gasket material that connects the two side gasket pieces on the oil pan so that oil doesn't leak past that metal to metal contact area. 12:23 very surprised the kit didn't come with thin cork or rubber gaskets for the valve covers...

Need to put it in an rc car, that would be the shit.

9:57 thru 9:59 One of the intake O-rings on a cylinder head was not in its groove when the intake manifold was installed.

Know put it in a car body with a auto transmission and remote control and uncork the headers.

Cool engines, but no matter what design it is,v8 chevy,flathead Ford, flat 4 porsche, they all sound the same and don't rev or make much power. I enjoy the builds and the detail to replicate each engine though.

Great work! Your paint work is immaculate. Nice fake "before" model overall, too. I'd like to see a process video of those. The "broken" headlamp lenses were too obvious, though. Also there is no way you sanded that scratched windshield back to pristine condition.
